This book, The Blockbuster Heath (Vol 1) by Dr.Sharad Kulkarni is a tour about something totally basic and necessary i.e. Food. Whatever we consume on a daily basis reacts on our body in good or bad means. Even in the times of the pandemic, it only good and healthy food that can save us from been effected.

According to me, itโ€™s absolutely important to know the nerve of the food we consume, knowing the basic nutrient component. By reading this book, I realized the dieting isnโ€™t important but a balanced diet is the need of the hour and we as a consumer should be aware of its dietary supplements.

The doctor-author not only makes us aware of the importance of healthy lifestyle but also gives us definition for balanced diet. A health conscious person would already know the necessity of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and fat but there are certain aspects more to the already known terms.  

Dr. Sharad has a detailed observation on the day to day food, fruits and veggies we have on everyday basis. Not only that, he critically enlists the advantages and disadvantages of the beverages associated in our life- commonly water, tea and coffee. The drinks associated in our life majorly affect us in good and bad ways according to the consumption of beverages.  

From this book, I was informed that not every nutrient is adaptable to an individualโ€™s body and also too much of any nutrient is harmful for a oneโ€™s body.
Doctor brings out the relation of food for a good mental health and human personality.
He broadly categorizes nutrients with their identity, function and also with a table that type of food that falls under the individual nutrients.

The extra plus point in the book goes to the real life cases that Doctor shares to bring the importance of certain topics like consuming immense amount of medicine or the during of fasting, for that latter becoming a fashion in todayโ€™s times.

The book is a perfect guidebook for all of us to get back to track on healthy life. This is a book for all of us to read and understand though Doctor makes super explanatory and easiest way possible. Highly recommended book for a real life necessities.
