Marigold –the golden memories is a wonderful collection of eighteen short stories each with a specific essence with its storyline and characters portraying raw emotions. Short stories are my favorite as they are easy to read and emote a lot of things at a time. They are diverse and lead you mind in introspection.
These stories are short, delicate, narrating a polished story with no unnecessary extension. Every story effortlessly conveys their themes undisputedly. It is simple and truthful perhaps the best combination with short stories. The writing style is very vibrant, it doesn’t give you scope to slip into boredom. Overall, the reading experience would be more than satisfying. All stories are related to real emotions and no theme is extravagated. Every story would leave you mesmerized and gift you hope.
The characters are well-expressed dealing with their challenges related to love, betrayal, ambitions, vulnerabilities and story of moving on in life. As I said, these stories keep you mesmerized and it really kept me heartily attached with every character. The characters, according to me were a source of life and encouragement.
If you’re looking for a light yet effective read than pick this book and read. The book is a gem and a must read, actually. This book has amazing collection no one should leave it unread.
