Often simple things have an underlying impact. |Simply Ageless by Alessia Davi

Hello Readers, I know that the times aren’t so great and not under our accordance. So, here’s yet another book review. Happy Reading!

Book name: Simply Ageless

Genre: biography/ life story.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐.9/5 (3.9/5)

The Review: Simply Ageless by Alessia Davi is an extraordinary depiction of the author’s life. It portrays author’s perspective on many usually introspective topics. The book is written in two parts- the first part is a memoir by the author on certain incidents in her life.

The first part: It is written in a convenient manner. The author writes her heart out sharing her personal experiences upon love, friendship, high school adjustments and so on.

My personal favourite part was where the author talks about her beliefs on God and it’s remarkable how determinantly she enlightens us that God exist and does show us his magic at the right time.

I also personally adored the part where the author shares her space with her sister and tells her readers the bond between them. I could personally relate to the first part as I find connections to my real life.

I also loved the incorporation of famous poetries and sayings around the world that are author’s personal favourite.

The second part: It is all about timely confessions upon author’s upon life while dealing depression.

This part delivers the feeling that the author’s might have felt while dealing this illness. It captures not only the author’s tensions upon depression but also people around her dealing with the same.

The second part is heartwarming with short diary entries directed towards God.

What could be improved (according to me): i hoped for a little more detailing about the illness so that the readers knew if it actually feels to be consumed by depression.

What I liked about the book: I wouldn’t see the book as a reading to enlighten depression and anxiety. It just feels like a self penned memoir of the author.

A quite appreciable work by the author.

I would like to thank Author Alessia Davi for the ebook copy.🌻
